UKTA scholarship candidates do not pay the full published course fee of its providers and on average there is a saving of some £500 per day.   You should note however that, there is an administration and processing fee of £15.00 (pounds sterling, inclusive of VAT a UK Government tax charged at 17.50%) to  pay for each programme place booked, payable on arrival before course attendance.

After acceptance of a training scholarship offer, a non-refundable booking deposit will be required by the training provider before any booking is fully confirmed to the delegate. The training provider will provide full details about the deposit required and instructions on how to make payments (cheque or bank draft). The booking deposit will be deducted from total invoice training charges which must be paid on arrival and before attendance.  Most training providers require a daily charge to cover the cost of materials, manuals, meals and refreshments provided.  Where a daily charge is required, full details will be supplied during the offer/booking process.
Example of training provider charges:

For all SCN courses, the non-refundable booking deposit is £300 (ex VAT) and the daily charge is £100 (excluding VAT).   Value Added Tax (VAT a government tax) in the UK is 17.5%.  Applicants must supply their own funding for their travel and UK living costs. As a guide, full board accommodation ranges from about £30 to £80 per day dependant on the venue, and accommodation selected.  Transport costs between any two training locations should not be more than £50.  You should take the time to visit the useful links page if you want to find out more about the area that you will be visiting to undertake your training.  Useful travel information to from both Heathrow and Gatwick Airports to SCN Ltd can be found by following the links below together with bus timetables:

Applicants should note that the UKTA cannot provide any financial support towards UK travel and living costs. Delegates arriving without adequate funding for their stay will not be allowed to begin the training and will be referred to their local embassy for immediate repatriation.
