The UKTA offers a range of communications training at subsidised tuition charges, to people employed by telcos and allied industries in "countries developing their communications environment" worldwide and where access to appropriate training facilities is not available.  By definition this excludes people working in North America, Western Europe and the UK.

Suitable applicants will be working in countries with a less developed communications infrastructure seeking to develop their network and communications skills and contribute to the development of their country's communications infrastructure. We will also consider applications from people not yet employed in the communications industry if we have sufficient places available.

People who do not qualify for a UKTA scholarship may attend any of the courses in our portfolio by paying the normal full charge for the training and making direct application for a place to the relevant training provider (UKTA secretariat does not handle training provider bookings for full payment places).
