Applications

To apply for training simply forward a completed UKTA application form, by email (preferred) to our administration office. There is no need to supply any additional supporting documents initially, unless there are special circumstances that about which you wish to inform us. When additional documents are required specifically post graduate courses they will be requested later as part of the selection process. All enquiries and applications should be channelled through the UKTA secretariat. Please do not apply to the training providers directly as this may jeopardise your chances of obtaining a scholarship.

The UKTA and Cable Telecommunications Training Services Ltd (CTTS) are BAC accredited for all short courses as advertised on the schedule area of the UKTA web-site. To avoid confusion the BAC logo shows on the synopsis of the courses concerned. The Post Graduate courses are covered by the relevant university BAC registration.

Study the course descriptions and all related costs carefully and ensure that you have the appropriate qualifications and experience to benefit from the intended training. Also please ensure that you can attend for the full duration of the training requested. You may select (in some cases depending on the requirements of the training provider) one or a series of courses, according to your personal requirements remembering that there are cost implications.

Many of the courses are offered on more than one date to increase flexibility, particularly for those wishing to select a combination of courses to run consecutively. Competition for some of the courses is expected to be high and, though every attempt will be made to meet your preferred choice of training, you are advised to provide a second choice selection to increase the options for successful placement.
